The Aico Ei144e Heat Alarm is a mains powered unit with a 9V Alkaline battery back-up. Its easi-fit base ensures quick and simple installation. It also features a thermistor sensor, which responds to heat build-up from large flaming fires (triggered at 58°C), like the ones you find in kitchens or garages. As part of the 140e Series alarms, the Ei144e Optical alarm can be interconnected with other alarms and accessories (sold separately) through a hard wire connection or by convenient RadioLINK wireless interconnection.
