This MK Electric 13A 1 Gang Double Pole Switched Socket (K2977ALM) is a durable wiring accessory designed for use in rough environments ranging all the way from tool sheds to factories. As part of the Metalclad Plus™ collection, it combines heavy gauge steel construction with a metallic powder paint finish that’s both corrosion and scratch resistant. This switched socket also features a 3 pin operated 'child resistant shutter system' for added safety and peace of mind.

Zone 0	Inside the bath or shower tray. Minimum IP rating of IP67, and a maximum voltage of 12 V.
Zone 1	Directly above the bath to a height 225 cm from the floor, or the inside of shower cubicle excluding the tray. Minimum IP rating of IP65.
Zone 2	60 cm perimeter around the bath or shower to a height 225 cm from the floor. 60 cm radius around sink tap. Minimum IP rating of IP44.
Zone 3	Anything outside the other zones. No IP rating requirements.
