As part of PowerBreaker’s ProteKt range, this Weatherproof 2 Gang 13A Switched RCD Socket (PSKTRCDP2G) has been sturdily built for outdoor use in both commercial and domestic settings. It’s UV resistant and IP66 rated for protection against water and dust, so you can rest assured that it will hold up under even the most inclement weather conditions.

Like all PowerBreaker residual current devices, this Passive 30mA model monitors the current flowing through its live and neutral wires and, if it detects an imbalance, automatically cuts the power before it can shock anyone or start a fire. It features an ultra-quick trip speed of less than 20 milliseconds and a brilliant LED power indicator, so you can always tell whether it’s on or not.

Zone 0	Inside the bath or shower tray. Minimum IP rating of IP67, and a maximum voltage of 12 V.
Zone 1	Directly above the bath to a height 225 cm from the floor, or the inside of shower cubicle excluding the tray. Minimum IP rating of IP65.
Zone 2	60 cm perimeter around the bath or shower to a height 225 cm from the floor. 60 cm radius around sink tap. Minimum IP rating of IP44.
Zone 3	Anything outside the other zones. No IP rating requirements.
